About Us

We are a church seeking to honor God by praising Him, caring for and teaching one another and sharing our faith with all.

Our Vision

To make disciples of Jesus Christ through personal evangelism, biblical baptism, and devotional indoctrination.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to glorify God, with Jesus Christ at the center of our lives and ministry. Together, we edify one other as we praise and worship Him through the preaching of God’s Word, lifting our voices in song, and faithful prayer. It is our desire that all accept the Good News of salvation and diligently walk in obedience through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Church Covenant

Having been led by the Holy Spirit to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and on the public confession of our faith, having been immersed in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, in the presence of God and this assembly, we solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ.

We Purpose therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love;

  • to strive for the advancement of this church in knowledge, holiness and comfort
  • to promote its prosperity and spirituality
  • to attend its services regularly
  • to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline and doctrines
  • to give faithfully of time and talent in its activities
  • to contribute cheerfully and regularly, as God has prospered us, to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel throughout all nations

We Also Purpose to maintain family and private devotions;

  • to train our children according to the Word of God
  • to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintance
  • to be just in our dealings, and exemplary in our conduct
  • abstain from all forms of activity which dishonor our Lord Jesus Christ
  • cause stumbling to a fellow believer or hinder the winning of a soul to Christ
  • to be zealous in our efforts to advance the cause of Christ, our Savior
  • and to give Him preeminence in all things

We Further purpose to encourage one another in the blessed hope of our Lord’s return;

  • to watch over one another in brotherly love
  • to remember each other in prayer
  • to aid each other in sickness and distress
  • to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and courtesy of speech
  • be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation, and, mindful of the rules of our Savior, to seek it without delay

Meet Our Pastors

Meet our pastoral team – a dedicated team of pastors that ensure that Jesus Christ is at the center of everything we do – as we worship, serve, and encourage one another to grow in Christ.

Pastor Adam Harris

I was blessed to be led to the Lord at six years old and was continually discipled by my godly father and mother. To this day, they are very important figures in my life.

I was also blessed by the Lord to marry my beautiful, godly wife in December 1999. She has been a tremendous encouragement and ally in the work of the ministry. In 2003 we added to our family our precious daughter, now married and faithfully following Christ. In 2005 we added our son, who is also walking well with our Savior. There is no doubt that my family is my greatest earthly love.

God has used me to pastor churches in Havre, MT, Priest River, ID, and now East Wenatchee, WA. Having started in 2002, I have learned and grown in ways I would never have imagined, and my time in the Wenatchee valley has been very important in my growth and education. We started here in August of 2018 and are anticipating a long and blessed ministry.

My interests center around Christian religion, cowboy culture, and occasional tourism. God has been kind to let me enjoy a life of countless blessings, and I am daily grateful for His calling in my life.

Pastor Bohdi Hollman

Raised in a faithful Christian household, I was acquainted with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ at a young age. The Lord saved me when I was seven years old, and I have continued growing in Christ ever since. In 2020, I attended the University of Montana to pursue a degree in Computer Science; however, during my education, I fell in love with theological studies as a hobby and was discipled by a local church. It was through my involvement at this church that I began discerning God’s calling in my life toward pastoral ministry.

I was hired as the pastoral intern here at EWFBC in the summer of 2023. After finishing my B.S. in Computer Science, First Baptist called me as the Associate Pastor in January of 2024. God has richly blessed my time here over the past few years, and I am eternally grateful for the fellowship I enjoy. I am currently pursuing a Master of Divinity through Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary.

In addition to Biblical and theological studies, I have a wide variety of interests: classical literature, philosophy, writing, art history, cryptozoology, and more. I am ever indebted to the Lord Jesus, Whose “steadfast love is better than life” (Ps. 63:3). Soli Deo gloria.

Baptist Network Northwest (BNN)

From our very beginning, First Baptist Church has been voluntarily involved with many other Baptist churches across Idaho, Oregon, and Washington state. Together we have partnered for camp ministries, church plants, and multiple forms of fellowship. The network was instrumental in connecting Pastor Adam with our church in 2018.

The Columbia Basin region

This region of the BNN has developed an even more intimate form of fellowship as churches from East Wenatchee, Quincy, Soap Lake, Willow Creek, Moses Lake, Connell, and Royal City organize our own events and pastoral meetings. These fellowships have provided great encouragement and comradery for our church for many years.
