Come and join us as we give praise, glory, and honor to His holy name…

Please join us on Sunday, October 13th, as Liberty Quartet performs at East Wenatchee First Baptist. The concert will begin at 6:00PM. While it is free to attend, there will be a freewill offering taken on their behalf. We look forward to a night of great music, fellowship, and worship!

Sunday School… join us at 9:30AM as we begin a refreshing study on the doctrine of the Church, known as Ecclesiology. In many ways, the Church, as Christ’s trophy of grace, is an essential part of the Christian life. Learn as Pastor walks us through the Church’s universality and locality (as it relates to membership, the offices, the ordinances, etc.), as well as the Baptist distinctives.

Or you may join our alternative Sunday School class, where we are studying “Tactics” by Gregory Koukl, a strategy for learning how to share our faith with non-Christians.

Sunday Morning Worship… join us for our Worship service beginning at 10:45 am, where we lift our voices and praises to God! We are continuing our study in the book of Job.

Sunday Evening Bible Study… join us for a weekly Bible Study, Sundays at 6:00PM, where we look deep into God’s Word for the substance and detail to improve our walk with God!

Tuesday Evening Bible Study…join us for a weekly Bible Study on the Book of Revelation. This class begins at 6:30 pm.

12 Steps with God – each Wednesday eveningWe would like to welcome you to our Biblical Counseling/Discipleship and recovery ministry. Join us at 6:30 for a time of encouragement and blessing!

We are a church seeking to honor God by praising Him, caring for and teaching one another and sharing our faith with all.

Welcome

Through my years as a pastor I have seen two opposing sides of Christianity; one that frustrates me by being judgmental and hypocritical, and the other that is encouraging because the people are honest and working hard to live in accordance with the teachings of God’s Holy Bible (not someone’s religious opinion), fostering a relationship with Almighty God through our Savior, Jesus Christ.  As the newly installed pastor of East Wenatchee First Baptist Church, I have been encouraged to see an example of warm and sincere Christianity from this church, and while each of us has our own struggles with living selfishly, we desire to improve our walks with God.

It is also our endeavor to see men, women, and children come to enjoy a very intimate relationship with God by trusting in the sacrifice of God the Son, Jesus Christ, on the cross as the payment for sin, building upon that trust and being baptized as a means of identifying with Him, and joining us as a spiritual family to worship our God, fellowship with one another, and testify to those still seeking.

As the pastor, I am responsible for consistently teaching you the Bible, and praying for you.  The teaching happens on a regular basis within the walls of the church building as we offer you the opportunity to be in God’s Word several times a week.  Individual studies can be arranged as well and can be of great help in answering some of life’s nagging spiritual questions.  Please feel free to call or visit and take advantage of the resources available at East Wenatchee First Baptist Church.  I am looking forward to meeting you and helping however I can.

Sincerely,
Pastor Adam Harris

Our Vision

We at East Wenatchee First Baptist Church believe that our ultimate purpose is to glorify God. Jesus Christ is the central theme of our life and ministry.

Praising

Praising is a main part of worship. We worship our Lord Jesus Christ corporately when we gather as a local body. We glorify Him my offering our praise and thanksgiving, by lifting our voices in song, and by receiving instruction from His Word.

Caring

Caring is in mind when the Bible speaks of fellowship. Having entered into a relationship with Jesus Christ, God’s Son, made us brothers and sisters. When we are focused on Christ, we are able to view others through God’s eyes and that helps us minister to them in a way that would please Christ and build up His Church.

Teaching

Teaching is essential for a proper understanding of God’s desire for our lives. We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, infallible Word of God. Since the Word of God is central to all that we do, all ministries of the church are built upon its foundation. God’s Word is the only relevant plan for living in our day. The Bible is as applicable to the struggles of living today as it was 2000 years ago.

Sharing

Sharing the good News of Jesus Christ with the world, including East Wenatchee, is the special job given to us by Christ. It is our desire to see others enter into the same relationship with Christ that we share.

My Apologies…

My apologies for falling so far behind right out of the gates.  As our new website was coming online, I found myself getting extremely busy with family needs.  You see, we are in the process of building our new home 30 minutes out of town.  This has proven to be extremely taxing and demanding.  We …
